Perhaps Mr. Musk will soon destroy Twitter; perhaps it will stay exactly the same. I don’t care either way. I think the actually-existing internet is far more destructive than it needs to be, and advertising-driven social media is one of the fundamental problems. But whatever happens, I have connected with some great people on there, and want to create other ways to stay in touch. Would you please consider signing up for this newsletter. It doesn’t exist.

Back when Substack started I considered creating a blog / mini-magazine here. I did not. As of now, I do not plan to post anything or email you for a while. I may indeed start experimenting with publishing here, or I might wait until I have some kind of announcement — I have a book coming out in 2023, for example, and may have some kind of pre-sale deal.
